FIU Foundation, Inc. RFP for Investment Consulting Services
Florida International University Foundation, Inc. seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing comprehensive, discretionary investment consulting services. The selected firm will report to the Investment Committee of FIU Foundation’s Board of Directors and will also work closely with the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Treasurer and other key staff members.
All consulting firms interested in submitting responses are to download the Request for Proposal (RFP) included as a PDF document on the link below and encouraged to carefully review the RFP in order to prepare a response that is in line with the requirements outlined within the document. The calendar of events has been posted below for your convenience.
If you have questions concerning the RFP, please contact the authorized Contact Person listed below and referenced within the RFP document. The Contact Person is the only authorized individual to answer questions regarding RFP specifications. Any information that is used to prepare your response from an individual other than the authorized Contact Person shall not be legally binding on the FIU Foundation and may cause your RFP to be found non-responsive.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for participating in the FIU Foundation’s RFP for Investment Consulting Services. We am happy to announce that the Board’s Investment Committee has reviewed and evaluated all of the submitted proposals and has selected the following six firms as finalists:
1. Cambridge Associates
3. Gallagher Fiduciary Advisors, LLC
4. Hirtle, Callaghan & Co.
5. The Presidio Group
6. Wilshire Associates, Inc.
Upon conclusion of the finalists’ interviews, the Selection Committee has ranked the firms listed below. If a successful contract cannot be reached between the FIU Foundation, Inc. and the highest ranked respondent, the negotiations with the highest ranked respondent will be terminated, and the FIU Foundation, Inc. may enter into negotiations with the next highest ranked respondent, and so on until a successful conclusion to the negotiations is reached.

Cambridge Associates has been selected as the
FIU Foundation’s new Outsourced Chief Investment Officer, which brings the
Foundation’s RFP for investment consulting services to an end.
