 Ramon "Ray" Flores
Area Director, AT&T Florida. Mr. Ramon "Ray" Flores came to United States at the age of 10, via Operation Pedro Pan. He studied at La Salle High School, Miami Dade Community College and later graduated from Biscayne College, B.A. in Business, Miami, Fla. As Area Director, he serves as a representative for the AT&T Florida community; acting as a liaison and problem solver between the corporation and various chambers of commerce. He tracks legislative issues for AT&T Florida. He also serves as the representative for AT&T International, seeking business relationships outside the United States. He is active in the community: (Secretary) Metropolitan Center FIU, (Vice-Chairman) International Trade Board for the City of Miami, (Board Member) Miami Dade County International Trade Mission Center, Co-Chair One Nation (a service organization, which assists new citizens with English), Director of the Hispanic Council, Hispanic Heritage, Director of: Latin Chamber (CAMACOL), Greater Miami, Key Biscayne, Coral Gables, Chamber South, Florida City, and Homestead Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Flores has served on the FIU Foundation Board of Directors since September 2008. He is married to Mirtha D. Flores, with two children Anna Maria Flores Menendez (FIU Alumni) and husband David Menendez (FIU Alumni) and Granddaughter Gabriella (Future FIU Student), and Juan Carlos Flores (FIU Alumni) and wife Lissettee Pol Flores (FIU Alumni). |
