Christopher G. Korge
Principal of Korge & Korge a Coral Gables law firm. Christopher G. Korge is a business man and real estate developer. He is Chairman and the Managing Partner of Landko Development and other real estate partnerships, which are a real estate development companies. He is also a founder, Chairman and owner of a retail newsstand company called Newslink, which presently operates in five major airports. Mr. Korge is on the board and a major shareholder of E-AutoClaims, a technology Company. He also owns a consulting firm, which specializes in retail and food and beverage development. Mr. Korge is a significant investor in the oil and gas, commercial real estate, banking and cosmetics sectors, to name a few. He received his J.D. degree from Temple School of Law in 1981 and a B.S. in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Florida in 1977. Mr. Korge is extremely active in political circles and served most recently as National Finance Chair for Hillary Clinton's Presidential Campaign. He has also served as National Finance Co-Chair of Kerry Edwards Victory 2004 and Finance Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee for Vice President Al Gore. He has been on the Board of Trustees for the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. He is past Co-Chair of the Democratic National Committee Business Council. Mr. Korge has served the City of Miami and City of Miami Beach governments. He serves on the boards of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitor Bureau, Urban League of Greater Miami, and Greater Miami Host committee. He joined the FIU Foundation Board of Directors in April 2006. Irene and Christopher Korge are residents of the Village of Pinecrest. |
