 Ronald A. Shuffield
President of Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell Realtors (EWM). Mr. Shuffield and his business partner Al Harper, purchased EWM in 1984 and have helped the company grow to an annual sales volume of over $2 billion. Professionally, he is a Florida licensed real estate broker and a certified general contractor. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where He received his BA in Business Administration, and is a past president on the University of Tennessee South Florida Alumni Association. He is currently serving a term as a member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Board for the University of Tennessee/Knoxville. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables since 1964 and currently serves on the Board of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Shuffield is a past chairman of the Chamber and was the recipient of the Robert B. Knight outstanding citizen awarded for 1995-1996. He was the 1996-1997 chairman of the Coral Gables Community Foundation and continues to serve on its board. He is also a Trustee member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce; and he has served as a board member of Baptist Health Enterprises, since 1999. Mr. Shuffield’s commitment to his community is evident in his ability to lead the company with a strong ethics. EWM’s company philosophy of integrity and fairness is a reflection of the President. He and his wife, Anita, live in Pinecrest and they have three children: Melissa, Allison and Scott. |
